About Torpedo Ladle Preheating Station
The Torpedo Ladle Heating Station shall be provided for heating of newly relined Torpedo Ladle as well as heating of circulating Torpedo Ladle. The Torpedo Ladle shall be placed in on Rail mounted frame. The Heating Hood is vertical, mounted on trolley car and placed before the Torpedo ladle mouth during heating operation. The system is made of a steel structure and an arm with a concave lid with a centrally located fuel-air burner to preheat one Torpedo Ladle. The internal surface can resist heat upto 900 to 1000°C.
The Heater Station consist of:
- Trolley car with Heating Hood,
- Gas fired Burner System,
- LPG fired Pilot Ignition System,
- Gas Valve Trains,
- Compressed Air piping,
- Combustion Air Fan Burner Control Panel.
