About Water Cooled Roof
Split shell with water cooled tubular side panels with slag door opening for various capacities of furnace are manufactured. Headers of 150 NB size and 200 NB sizes are used depending on size of furnace. The side panels are usually made of 65 NB or 80 NB seamless boiler quality pipes. The panels are connected to headers with flexible high pressure hoses. The system is generally tested under 10bar hydraulic pressure
